Step 1
Create a brand-new File 800 x 800 -rgb, transparent bg
Make a circle with the marquee tool
Step 2.

We wish to make our grid nice and spherical
Filter > Distort > spherize.
Use 100 % and run the filter 2X.
Do not deselect.
Step 4.
Produce a new layer and move it below the mesh layer and name it “head”.
Step 5.
Develop a light to dark gray slope.
