Adobe Illustrator’s Pen tool allows you to create precise paths that can be manipulated to create a variety of shapes and designs. You can use the Pen tool to create straight lines, curves, and complex shapes by placing anchor points and adjusting the path’s direction and curvature.
Using the Pen tool is as simple as selecting it from the toolbar or pressing P on your keyboard. Then, click and drag on the artboard to create your first anchor point. You can then continue to add more anchor points by clicking or clicking and dragging to create curves. To close the path, position the Pen tool over the first anchor point and click to create a straight line to the starting point.
You can also use the Pen tool to edit existing paths by clicking and dragging the anchor points to adjust the shape of the path.
