The healing brush tool is located in the Photoshop Tool kit, on the left side.
The Clone Stamp Tool as well as the Healing Brush Tool are used for retouching. These Tools take a sample of a section of your image (the "resource"), and "clone" or retouch that sample on another section of your image (the "location"). It serves for eliminating an unwanted part of or a flaw in your image. This column will certainly concentrate on the Healing Brush Tool.
The Clone Stamp Tool takes an exact duplicate copy of your resource area and pastes it unaltered to your destination area. It is wonderful if you are trying to replicate a pattern, such as plant life, a straight line, structure in a building, and so forth.
The Healing Brush Tool, nevertheless, takes into account the color, texture, shading, transparency as well as lighting of your destination area, and attempts to blend in your resource area. It is designed for removing acnes in skin, dust in skies, as well as other locations where you are aiming to blend imperfections from your image.
I would suggest that you deal with a Background Copy of your image when retouching with these Tools. There are two reasons for this:
Brush Options: When you click on the Brush Options drop-down menu triangular, the dialog box opens. On top of that, you can access this same dialog box by right-mouse hitting in your image when the Healing Brush Tool is picked.
